Becky and I took the kids to see Are We Done Yet last weekend. We went to the AMC Theaters in Highlands Ranch, Colorado where you can go to the movies for $5 a person before Noon on Saturday’s and Sunday’s. The Fandango website at Are We Done Yet describes the movie as follows:
“Nick and Suzanne decide to move to the suburbs to create a better life for children Lindsey and Kevin. The contractor they hire to renovate their home has a rather odd way of doing business, complicating the family’s move. Matters spiral further out of control when the contractor clashes with Nick but bonds with Suzanne and the children. A sequel to Are We There Yet?”
The Review
Are We Done Yet was a fun movie for the kids, but it was far to juvenile for adults and pretty stupid on just about every level. Our kids liked it though and that’s why we went to see it, but if you’re trying to to decide between this movie and Firehouse Dog – go see the dog movie.
Unless you’re going to see this one at the dollar theater with the kids we would recommend saving your money and waiting for the rental. Also, we doubt that kids above about 12 years old will enjoy this movie. I didn’t think that I would like it and Becky was skeptical too and this time we were both right.
