The Review
Lakeview Terrace is the new drama starring Samuel L. Jackson about a prejudice cop who terrorizes his next store neighbors who has a problem with the fact that the husband is white and his wife is African American. The story is very different than anything that has been done before, which makes it very interesting and unique and probably why we liked it.
Becky and I both liked the film. It’s very stressful, but it’s interesting and the acting by Samuel Jackson and the rest of the cast was great. The movie itself isn’t great, but the story is pretty wild and it will make for a good rental or worth seeing at the movies.
However, I would wait for the rental because the cost of getting into movies is way too much now given the economy. Also be forewarned, that this is rated PG-13, but the F word is used since Hollywood has lost its mind when it comes to language in the movies now a days.
